I hadn't drawn for a while and I thought, now is the time to draw again! And so I did.
I've read the Twilight series and I was an instand fan. I first saw the movie, so it was great to read more details in the books..
I wanted the draw Edward and Bella, 'cause their great in the movie.
I searched on the internet for photos from the movie, and I found a lot. But Edward, or Rob, seems to look rather angry in the most of them.. grr.. I don't want to draw an angry Rob.. That's the bit I didn't like in the movie, nor in the books, Edward is always angry with himself, like he has no selfasteem -.-' GOWD... get a grip
Well I found a picture of him and Bella, in the scene where they "try" to dance at Debussy's Claire de Lun. He is holding her hand and has his famous crooked smile on his face.. I just love the expression on his face.
It was very difficult to draw Edward, but i did. The one I've drawn looks a bit like him, especially when you hold it up side down, weird.
I took me a very long time to draw him, and next in line was Bella. I stopped soon after I started, I gave up. My Bella doesn't look anything like the one in the picture and I was so tired of drawing, so I gave up.
The next morning I still wanted to draw Kirsten Stewart, but I knew I couldn't draw her in the picture I've drawn. So I went on the Internet again and searched for an picture of Kirsten Stewart. And I found one!
The position she's in, looked very easy to draw, so I thought: let's give it a try!
I had some trouble afterall.. With her eye(s) and her mouth, especially her mouth. I had to make sure her teeth were not too big and her mouth in the right shape..
But in the end, I'm very glad it worked out as I planned.
In my last journey piece, I said I would soon post an other drawing of Shannyn Sossamon but I still don't have an scanner or something and i don't want to take pictures of my drawing, because it's not the best quality...
Be patience, that's all I can say...
